School systems in the United States are faced with the challenges of providing the best possible education to a growing student population in which Spanish is their native language. School administrators and teachers in many states have made the decision to provide textbooks, school library books, testing materials, and benchmark assessments in Spanish so that Spanish-speaking students are not left behind. Strictly Spanish is highly experienced in the process of translating academic and school materials from English to Spanish and provides Spanish translation services to many academic publishers.
We also assist educational publishers in the development of new K-12 Spanish Language Arts content specifically written to the nuances of the Spanish-language grammar. This includes textbooks, ancillaries, and assessments. In cases where the English grammar standards correspond to the Spanish grammar standards and a straight translation will not work because of the nuances of the languages, Strictly Spanish provides expert transadaptations, which means we use the English as a guide but adapt it to the Spanish grammar.
