Job Description
Strictly Spanish Education (SSE) is the educational division of Strictly Spanish LLC. SSE provides comprehensive Spanish development services to educational publishers. Our management team, located in our Milford, Ohio, office consists of experienced project managers, translators, editors and proofreaders that are all native Spanish-speaking professionals. SSE specializes in the translation and development of academic materials in the subject areas of math, social studies, economics, history, and reading. The materials are for elementary, middle, and high school.

SSE is currently seeking a Bilingual Spanish Editor - Project Manager. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities include editing and proofreading academic materials that have been translated by our global translation teams. On occasion, the position will require creative writing and translation assignments. Other responsibilities include communicating with our translators and clients, and managing the workflow of projects. Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.

Job Requirements
1) Native Spanish speaker
2) Minimum of a 4 year Bachelors degree in Spanish, Spanish literature, Spanish education, Spanish translation, or a Spanish language related field
3) Completely bilingual with impeccable Spanish and English skills
4) Type at least 35 words per minute
5) Excellent computer skills with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
6) Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have legal authorization to work in the U.S. for at least 2 years.

Candidates must live in the greater Cincinnati, Ohio, as the position requires working out of our Milford, Ohio, office which is located in the greater Cincinnati area. Candidates will be required to take and successfully pass an editing/proofreading test. To pass this test, you must have excellent Spanish orthography.
